Barcelona kill two birds with one stone with Fati

“Monaco” is going to officially announce the signing of Spanish Ansu Fati from “Barcelona” on a permanent contract.

“Sport” newspaper, quoting Mercato expert Fabrizio Romano, reports that Fati’s deal has already been closed, and the official announcement remains, which can be published in the next few hours.

The French club has activated the option to buy Fati from Barcelona and will pay 11 million euros for the deal after reaching an agreement with the player on his annual salary.

The sale of Ansu Fati is a very important step for “Barcelona”, because in addition to the 11 million euros that the Catalan club will receive from the deal, it will also save the salary of the player, who was tied to the contract until 2028.

Thanks to these revenue and wage savings, the Catalan club will be able to reach the 1:1 salary cap rule, meaning Barcelona will be able to operate normally in the transfer market without additional restrictions.
