“Barcelona” has prepared a surprise for Hamza Abdel Karim, where Busquets plays the main role

In a move that paves the way for one of its legends to return to the bench, Barcelona have reopened their academy doors to Sergio Busquets to begin a new chapter in his coaching career, this time from within a squad that includes young Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim.

The newspaper revealedBrand:The Spanish publication reports that the former midfielder visited the Ciutat Esportiva Juan Gamper training complex in recent hours to begin a living and training period with Barcelona Athletic’s technical staff to develop his training skills as a first step into the world of training.

Although the matter is still under study and not officially demarcated, the aim is clear and Busquets seeks to gain daily field experience through direct contact with the club’s working methodology, closely following planning, dressing room management and tactical development.

The midfield legend believes the ideal environment to start his journey is the same environment where he grew up and spent the majority of his football career, especially as he does not yet have the coaching license required to take on the role of first coach and is looking forward to completing his training before officially starting the experiment.

The move comes just seven months after Busquets announced his retirement from football last December, ending his career with the American League title with Inter Miami, completing an extraordinary journey that saw him win every possible title with Barcelona and the Spanish national team.

Busquets was in New Jersey last Sunday to watch the World Cup final, which Spain beat Argentina with a Ferran Torres goal in extra time, before flying straight back to Barcelona to start his new project.

Busquets’ return is expected to provide a major technical and moral boost to Barcelona’s players, led by promising Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim, who will have a rare opportunity to learn and interact with one of the best midfielders in football history on a daily basis and benefit from his experience in positioning, reading the game and tactical development.
