A look at the line-up, schedule and format for the 2026 Elten Safety Shoes Baltic Sea Darts Open, the eighth European Tour event of the season.
The three-day event sees 48 players battle it out at the Merkur Ostseehal in Kiel, Germany, with the first round taking place over two sessions on Friday before the top 16 available players on the PDC Warner Rankings ladder feature from Saturday.
The second round is played across two sessions on Saturday and the remaining 16 players then meet on Sunday afternoon, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final all played across the bumper on Sunday evening.
All four players who featured on Thursday’s Premier League finals night have sat out the tournament, with Luke Littler never registering to play and Luke Humphries, Jonny Clayton and Garwin Price having since withdrawn.
With Michael van Gerwen and Josh Rock among others who have pulled out of the event, Gian van Veen has been named top seed ahead of James Wade, Stephen Bunting and Danny Knoppert.

Chris Dobey, Nathan Aspinall and last week’s Ross Smith are among the other seeds in the field, with Darryl Gurney, Dave Chisnall and former world champion Rob Cross also in action and chasing the £35,000 first prize.
