American rapper Azealia Banks said she was invited to the Spectator magazine’s summer party in London.
The actress, who is known for her social media feuds with many celebrities including Nicki Minaj, Zayn Malik and Lana Del Rey, wrote on X on Saturday: “I’ll be in London July 3rd for @spectator.”
His message received a response from Michael Gove, editor of the Spectator and a former Conservative minister, who replied: “I’m looking forward to it!”
The Spectator’s annual summer party is held in the garden behind the magazine’s offices in Westminster with a host of UK political, media and cultural figures.
In May, Banks and fellow rapper Minaj publicly supported Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch.
Banks wrote on X at the time: “Sorry I made fun of you British guys, I shook it off and realized it wasn’t a joke anymore and I shouldn’t be joking.
In another post, the 32-year-old said of Badenoch: “He’s a star.”
In April, Banks shared a video of the Conservative leader speaking in the House of Commons on X, with the message: “Kemi Badenoch is famous.
The artist is known for his political views and on Saturday he posted a link to an article titled “Congress moves forward with joint US-Israeli military plan” and wrote on X: WE WIN!!!!! GET OUT OF NATO NOW!
The New York rapper received critical acclaim for his debut single 212 which appeared on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
