“Bad game”… a fiery Catalan attack on Perez after Alvarez’s display

Santi Nola accuses the president of Real Madrid of trying to block the Barcelona deal

Santi Nola, director of Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, has launched a scathing attack on Real Madrid president Florentino Perez over the controversy surrounding the club’s announcement of a €150 million move to sign Julián Alvarez from Atletico.

In an article titled Bad Game, Nola believed the incident was nothing more than an attempt to protect the club president’s image in front of fans after he previously promised a major deal, accusing Real Madrid’s management of being more preoccupied with Barcelona than focusing on the sporting project.
