Artistic Swimming World Cup: GB’s Isabelle Thorpe and Ranjo Tomblin win gold


Great Britain continued their strong form at the Artistic Swimming World Cup by winning three gold medals in Pontevedra, Spain.

Olympic silver medalist Isabelle Thorpe, 25, and European champion Ranjo Tomblin enjoyed a breakthrough Friday in the fourth World Cup weekend of the season, winning the first mixed doubles technical.

An outstanding display of power and precision secured a third win in the mixed doubles event at the World Cup meeting in 2026.

Tomblin, 20, who has established himself as one of the best men’s artistic swimmers in the world, then added to his gold medal tally by winning the men’s single free on Saturday.

The pair won the mixed duet free with a strong performance – their fourth gold of the season together – on Sunday, scoring 259.5159 points.
