Arsenal are Premier League champions for the first time in 22 years.
After three runners-up finishes, the Gunners took top spot after Manchester City drew 1-1 at Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
Arsenal have topped the table for most of the season, but their title bid appears to have hit shaky ground in April. The title ends a six-year spell without a trophy and is Arteta’s second major honor as manager at the Emirates Stadium.
Midfielder Declan Rice posted a photo with his teammates on Instagram with the caption “I’ve told you all.. done.”
Former gun boss Arsene Wengerwho took the team to their last title, in 2004, featured in a celebratory post from their Gunners X account
He said: “You did it. Champions step forward when others stop. It’s your time. Now, go ahead and enjoy every moment.”

Your view – what fans think of Arsenal’s title win
‘Maybe now, the chain can come off’
Arsenal need to do this, regardless of what people say. They tried to go toe-to-toe with City and Liverpool by playing more expansive football. It failed them. They just need to get a title one way or another. Perhaps now, the chain could be off. (SG91)
‘Arsenal can dominate for years to come’
Credit Arteta sometimes there are delays in projects, and you have to be patient. Arsenal won the league, they can take advantage of this moment and dominate for years to come, especially since Pep is leaving. (sunastats)
‘TEAM OFF CORNER AND GABRIEL’S GOAL’
The team’s corner and Gabriel’s goal. Absolutely disappointed and sad that it didn’t go to the last day. (UTV)
‘Arteta deserves so much credit’
This is probably the worst football team to win the title in the last 10 years, but Arteta deserves so much credit. They have stuck it out and are Premier League champions and Champions League finals, though the rotation and time-wasting needs to stop. (its beginning)
‘Dull, boring, anti-football’
Dull, boring, anti-football. Terrible Premier League ad. (andrew)

Saturday 30 May: PSG (Puskas Arena, Budapest) – Champions League Final, kick-off 5pm
