Arsenal have signed Switzerland midfielder Geraldine Ruettler following his departure from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 27-year-old has signed a four-year deal and is understood to have left Germany after eight years in the Bundesliga.
He made 184 appearances in all competitions for Frankfurt, scoring 54 goals and providing 44 assists.
He will wear the number 14 shirt and is a third summer signing following his arrival from Arsenal Georgia Stanway And Selina Cersei.
“Arsenal is one of the best clubs in the world and I am proud to be here,” said Reutler.
“I love the way this team plays and I can’t wait to test myself against the best players in the WSL (Women’s Super League).
“I want to add to the history and success of this football club and I look forward to walking in front of all our supporters at the Emirates Stadium.”
Reutler began his career at Swiss club FC Stance before joining FC Luzern and making his senior debut in the top flight at the age of 15.
He joined Frankfurt in 2018, a year after making his debut for Switzerland – the first of 91 caps for his country.
Reutler helped Switzerland reach the quarter-finals of Euro 2025 on home soil.
“I’m delighted we were able to bring him to Arsenal,” manager René Slagers said.
“He is a really technical, intelligent player and combines that with good athleticism, which we believe makes him a great addition to our midfield group.
“I’m looking forward to starting work together when pre-season starts.”
