Arsenal are awaiting developments in the Julian Alvarez case, developing a clear strategy to wait for the Argentine striker’s move to Barcelona to fall through before making a bid that could open the door for him to leave Atletico Madrid.

According to the report, Arsenal’s offer could include Viktor Goukiris, who the club signed for €64m last summer, in addition to a fee that could reach €100m between fixed and variable, a formula that could interest Atletico, especially as Goukiris is admired by manager Diego Simeone.
