In Asia, several countries are recovering from hurricanes and floods.

And this week, many cities in the US are expected to set record temperatures.

The death toll is rising.

Houses, transport etc. have been destroyed.

And many countries are already facing financial problems.

As scientists expect severe weather to become more common, what can governments do to prepare?
