Arab whistler to officiate the Egypt-New Zealand match


The International Football Federation (FIFA) has chosen an Arab whistler to officiate the match between Egypt and New Zealand in the second round of the World Cup group stage at dawn next Monday.

An account was specified FIFAOn the “X” link website, the referee of the Emirati arena, Omar Al Ali, will take over the management of the match between Egypt and New Zealand.

Omar Al Ali is accompanied by a duo of assistants: his compatriot Mohamed Ahmed Youssef, Qatari Talib Al Marri and Peruvian fourth official Kevin Ortega.

The Egyptian national team under the leadership of its national coach Hossam Hassan started the World Cup with a 1-1 draw with Belgium, while the New Zealand team drew 2-2 with their counterpart Iran.

The match between Egypt and New Zealand will take place next Monday at four o’clock in the morning, Mecca time.

The Egyptian team is eagerly waiting for the first victory in the history of participation in the final stages of the World Cup.
