Apple WWDC 2026 Live Blog: All the Updates, What Happens


Apple’s annual software event, the Worldwide Developer Conference, is back. The WWDC26 keynote will begin on 10 am Pacific, 1 pm Easternand 6pm British Summer Time.

This is an animated event, and you can watch it on this page or open a video clip in another section; Apple is streaming its own videos manufacturer’s website and YouTube video.

WWDC is Apple’s annual developer conference. At the keynote, the company will announce all the upcoming changes to the software it powers iPhones, Macs, Apple Watchesand all other Apple devices. This year’s theme is expected to be around Siri, and the long-awaited change to Apple’s voice assistant.

Sometimes, Apple will make a surprise announcement at the main WWDC event of a new hardware or software – for example, we first learned about Apple Vision Pro at the 2023 WWDC keynote. This year, we can only expect software announcements, although these may be related to artificial intelligence (or as Apple calls it, Apple Intelligence). When an important story starts, we will post important updates on this blog. This includes release dates, new features, and important news to help you understand Apple’s announcements. We will also be reviewed by our media experts who are attending WWDC or watching from afar. Many of us have been writing about Apple for over a decade, so we can provide unique insights into what’s on display during the presentation.
