Apple is reportedly raising the price of AppleCare Plus for Macs and iPads


AppleCare Plus subscriptions for Mac or iPad will soon become more expensive, with prices increasing by $0.50 per month or $5 per year for new subscribers while remaining the same for existing subscribers, according to Bloombergand Mark Gurman. Gurman says that under the new AppleCare Plus pricing, “the new 13-inch MacBook Air plan has increased to $7.99 from $7.49, or $79.99 from $74.99 per year,” following move last year which also raised the price of the plan on iPhones. We haven’t seen the new prices shown on Apple’s website in the US either word of mouth however, and Apple has yet to respond to a request for comment.

Last month, Apple announced this and raising prices on iPads, Macs, Vision Pro, HomePod devices, and Apple TV 4K. The increase ranges from $30 for the HomePod mini to $4,200 for the M3 Ultra Mac Studio.
