Apple agrees to pay iPhone owners $250 million for not providing AI Siri

Apple has agreed to pay $250 million to settle a lawsuit that accused it of misleading customers about the availability of its Apple Intelligence tools. The desired establishment will apply to US residents who purchased all iPhone 16 and iPhone 15 Pro models between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025.

The termination will to settle the case in 2025stating that Apple’s marketing created a “clear and reasonable expectation of consumers” that Apple Intelligence would be present with the launch of the iPhone 16. The lawsuit stated that Apple’s marketing “provided a limited or non-existent version of Apple Intelligence, and misled consumers about its true function and functionality.”

Apple did not immediately respond Seasiderequest for comments.
