Anthropic introduces Claude Cowork for mobile and web

Claude Cowork was previously only available through the Claude desktop app for macOS and Windows, but now iOS and Android users can use it as well. However, Anthropic says that “the entire experience” of Cowork will remain on the desktop app, including things like accessing local files.

Cowork sessions will also now run in the cloud by default, so you can continue them on different devices or run Cowork tasks in the background even when your laptop is closed. There is another local configuration option for the desktop application, where users can switch between cloud and local processing. In addition, scheduled services will work even when your devices are offline. Claude can also send Cowork notifications to your phone when something is ready for you to review or approve.

Along with the mobile and web launch of Cowork, Anthropic is also extending its Cowork usage limits until August 5th.
