Andrew Flintoff’s High Gear crash passenger sues BBC studios

Available court documents provide new information about the alleged incident which took place on the Top Gear test track at Dunsford Park Aerodrome in Surrey on 13 December 2022.

There were microphones in the car, and according to BBC Studios, Flintoff was assured by Reese that at one point the front wheel of the car lifted and he took a corner but could not turn.

As he approached the same corner again, Reece told Flintoff: “Now turn right … now full power, full power,” defense evidence from BBC Studios said.

“The front wheel lifted off and because of the claimant’s instructions the dispatcher continued to apply force causing Morgan to swerve,” the document said.

The court document also states that “the petitioner did not show that he suffered any injuries from the accident in the period after the accident.”
