Ancelotti cleared the “Real” stars of a serious charge and expressed his opinion on Mourinho’s return.

Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has defended the players of his former team Real Madrid, talking about the possibility of Seleção star Neymar da Silva joining the national team roster for the 2026 World Cup.

In his interview with The Athletic newspaper, Ancelotti also expressed his opinion about the possibility of Jose Mourinho taking over the leadership of Real Madrid for a second term, as the Brazilian himself had done earlier.

The Italian coach ended his second spell at Real Madrid at the end of last season, having failed to win any trophies, and moved to take charge of Brazil’s national team, which is set to compete at the 2026 World Cup next June.
