Amber Davis: Legally Blonde Music Star Says ‘Don’t Give Movie Scenes’


Legally Blonde musical star Amber Davis says she asked to be kicked out by an audience member who filmed a performance in the front row.

The former Love Islander posted a video to her Instagram stories in between Saturday night’s show at Bord Guy’s Energy Theater in Dublin.

“We have a lovely audience, but there’s only one woman in the front row filming the whole act one and it’s distracting us all,” she said, asking staff to take the woman in act two.

Production company Royo told BBC NewsBeat it did not want to comment further on Davies’ message.

Davis in 2010 He won the third series of ITV’s Love Island in 2017, and has since pursued a career in acting and musical theatre.

She is currently playing the lead character Elle Woods in a production of Legally Blonde which is touring the UK and Ireland.

Davis, still in costume, with her stage microphone still on, recorded her Insta post, which she called her “daily reminder not to film in the theater.”

She said the audience broke the rules and “demoralized Saturday night’s spectacular Eighth show with acts of selfishness.”
