Amazon is launching a free app for Echo Hub devices that give the home screen a much-needed facelift it was launched in 2024. It already added support for Alex Plus AI, but the new version has a cleaner, more customizable interface that fits more smart home and on-screen controls than the previous version.
Echo Hub is also getting a chance Enhance Video AI features which lets you use natural languages to search for your smart home cameras, and Alexa Plus summaries of detected camera events.
