Alvarez consoles the Argentine fans. We will stand up and fight for the flag

Julian Alvarez, the player of “Atletico Madrid” and the Argentine national team, broke his silence and sent a message through his pages on social networks. The tango team lost to Spain in the finals of the 2026 World Cup.

It came as Barcelona made a bid for Alvarez and a deal was still on the table.

The Argentinian football player wrote on his Instagram page: “I have eternal gratitude to all Argentinians for always being there until the end with encouragement, support and belief. We all dreamed of bringing the trophy home, but regardless of the result, we will never forget what we experienced and felt during these fifty days.”

The striker of “Atletico” Madrid added. “Winning is a beautiful thing, but representing this flag with dedication, commitment and heart is what defines us.”

Julian Alvarez shed light on the future of the Argentina national team, saying: “We will rise, learn and move on because no matter what, this is who we are. We don’t understand life any other way. We are always moving forward, fighting for our flag and dreaming of putting Argentina on top.”
