Riders Alex Marquez and Yohan Zarco have been taken to hospital after high-speed crashes at the Catalunya MotoGP.
The race was red-flagged twice before the race was won by Fabio Di Giannantonio in Barcelona.
The Italian Ducati rider managed to take the flag in his third attempt from Joan Mir and Fermin Aldegger.
Two big accidents stopped the race, Marquez had a terrible accident when he ran into the back of Pedro Acosta.
Acosta was leading the race at 12 out of 24 when his bike suddenly lost power and the Spaniard tried to warn the riders behind him.
However, second-placed Marquez had no time to react, hitting the back of the KTM before he and his Ducati bike went into the wall and then went airborne in the cart.
Marquez was taken away by ambulance and did not take part in the restart, the team said, Gresini Racing.
Di Giannatonio was hit by debris from the crash but was able to restart – and win.
Former Moto2 champion Johannes Zarco was taken to hospital after a crash on the restart which triggered the second red flag.
After being strapped into the bike, Zarco performs tests on his left leg.
“Today was not an easy day for everyone. I really hope Alex is OK,” Di Giantantonio said.
“We’re really lucky. We know our sport is amazing. We try to put on an amazing show, but we’re human and we’re at risk. So I really hope everyone stays safe.”
