Al-Sharaa has praised Trump’s decision to remove Syria from the terrorist list Donald Trump

Speaking to Al Jazeera, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa said lifting US economic sanctions alone would have little effect unless Syria was also removed from the US list of terrorist sponsors. He said the designation is outdated and slows down the country’s recovery.
