Saudi Al-Shabaab defender Ali Al-Bulaihi will return to Al-Hilal at the end of the current season following the expiry of his loan deal, a press release has revealed.
Saudi Sports newspaper explained that Al-Bulaihi still has one season left on his contract with Al-Hilal, indicating that the player’s future will be finalized in the next summer transfer window, with the possibility of joining the Blue team’s camp in preparation for the new season.
He added that Al-Bulayhi’s departure from Al-Hilal was due to his desire to get more playing minutes in order to secure his place in the Saudi Arabia squad in preparation for the 2026 World Cup.
The outlet’s sources have confirmed that the international defender will not continue with Al-Shabaab after the end of his loan spell, especially given the interest of several clubs in the Saudi Roshen League to acquire his services in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Al-Bulaihi is considered one of the most popular defenders in Saudi football in recent years, having performed at remarkable levels for Al-Hilal and the Saudi national team.
