The coach of the Jordanian national team, Moroccan Jamal Al-Salami, believes that the football boom and the historic results recorded by the “Atlas Lions” in the World Cup open a door of hope for Jordanian fans in the 2026 World Cup.

In an interview with the Jordanian “Al-Riyadiya” TV channel, Al-Salami said: “The Moroccan national team qualified for the second round of the 1986 World Cup after a long absence from the tournament… and in 2022, after appearing in a very strong group, they managed to reach the semi-finals.”
