Al-Nasr are competing with Al-Hilal for a deal from Barcelona… and price is the only obstacle.

The two poles of the capital of Saudi Arabia are in a new conflict

Al-Nasr Club have entered a race with their neighbors and arch-rivals Al-Hilal to sign Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Previous media reports have revealed that Al Hilal are set to sign Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado from the Mercato next summer, given the Catalan club’s desire to include Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo.

Saudi newspaper Al-Youm has reported on new media reports that Al-Nasr are keen to sign the young midfielder, given his imminent departure from Barcelona at the end of last season.

However The Catalan club have set a sale price for Casado next summerwhich amounts to 20 million euros, an amount that could be an obstacle to completing the deal, especially since Al Nasr will depend on its own budget for its foreign contracts.

Al-Nasr’s link to the inclusion of Casado comes at a time when some reports point to the departure of Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, as his contract was not renewed and no agreement has been reached on a new contract.

Casado is considered one of Barcelona’s most promising emerging talents, but he has played just over 1,000 minutes this season as the least in midfield, prompting him to consider a move away from the Catalan club.

Since his departure has been confirmed, press reports have revealed several clubs are interested in signing him, most notably French side Monaco in addition to the Saudi Arabian League One side.
