Journalist Waleed Al-Faraj mocked Al-Nasr’s shock draw against Al-Hilal with the same goal in the Roshan Pro League Round 32 derby, stating that the leader’s goal was a favour.
Al-Nasr was leading until the 9th minute of the deadline, when Brazilian Pinto, the goalkeeper of the international team, scored an own goal in a strange way.
Al-Faraj said during the “Action with Walid” program. “Al-Nasr is like a man whose wedding was postponed. He was going to celebrate the league title and then everything got delayed.”

“Al Nasri were just seconds away from winning the league title, but Pinto made a disastrous mistake and gifted Al-Hilal a goal that looked like a coup d’état.”
He continued his speech. “Al-Hilal controlled most of the match, but Al-Nasr were the most decisive and managed to score in the first half, but Cristiano Ronaldo was scared, as if he knew the match would end in a draw.”
He continued. “Al-Nasr did not lose the championship. He will win the title 99% of the time. All that happened was that the joy was only delayed and crowning Al-Hilal the championship would be like a miracle.”
He concluded. “The issue of Damak’s victory over Al-Nasr in the last round is very difficult, but football knows all the scenarios and we will see what happens.”
