Ahead of the World Cup… Arnold releases Iraq roster in preparation for Spain camp

Iraq national team coach Graham Arnold has released the squad list that will take part in a training camp in Spain, the final preparation for the Lions of Mesopotamia…World Cup 2026.

Arnold revealed a list that included 34 names for the camp, which will later be whittled down to a maximum of 26 players to compete in the finals for the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

The announced list witnessed the presence of some of the most prominent weapons of the Arab team led by Ayman Hussain, Muhannad Ali, Zidane Iqbal and Ali Al Hammadi.

Iraq’s national team, which qualified for the tournament via the global play-offs, will play in Group Nine, which includes France, Norway and Senegal.
