The Portuguese star continues to stir controversy
Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nasri, has caused controversy after sending a mysterious message through his social media accounts.
Ronaldo posted a photo on his Instagram page while spending the summer vacation before returning to the Al-Nasr camp in the near future.
The Portuguese star commented on the photo in Spanish, saying: “When you turn to the sunlight, the shadows fall behind you.”
Portuguese “Abola” newspaper. I thought this message was Ronaldo’s intention to not talk about sunlight, but he wanted to direct it to his critics.
Ronaldo has recently been widely criticized after Portugal’s exit from the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup in America, Canada and Mexico against Spain.

The Portuguese star was not at his best in the tournament as he scored just two goals in the win over Uzbekistan and failed to find the back of the net against DRC, Colombia and Spain.
