A large section of Barcelona fans would prefer Florentino Perez to continue as Real Madrid president and his rival Enrique Riquelme to fail in Sunday’s election.
The “Mundo Deportivo” newspaper conducted a poll, which revealed that the preference of the “Barcelona” fans is for Perez to remain in the position of Merengue president.
74.66% of the polled members believe that Florentino Perez’s victory in the Real Madrid election is positive for Barcelona, while only 15% do not want him to lose and 10.33% are still undecided.
This preference is based on the impression of most Barcelona fans that Real Madrid are not at their best, having failed to win a domestic title in the last two years despite signing Kylian Mbappe.
Jose Mourinho’s return to “Santiago Bernabeu” doesn’t seem too worrying to Barcelona fans.
