Morocco’s Yassin Bounou continued to make history for Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal after he played a key role in helping Al-Za’eemi to the Guardians of the Two Holy Mosques Cup title for the tenth time in their history, adding another achievement to his illustrious career and cementing his status as one of the most popular goalkeepers in recent years.
Al Hilal clinched the title at the expense of Al Khulud on Friday night in the final match, which their side won two goals to one at the Al Enmaa Stadium in Jeddah.
Bono is on the exclusive shortlist for an Al Hilal side that has helped win the fifth domestic title since the start of the Roshan League’s golden era in the summer of 2023, featuring global stars.
