The former captain of “Al Hilal” and the Saudi Arabian national team is not living his best days
Media reports have revealed the truth about former Al-Hilal and Saudi Arabia captain Salman Al-Faraj considering quitting football for good after the end of last season.

However, Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya denied that Salman Al-Faraj had any intention of retiring from football after the end of last season.
The newspaper explained that the 36-year-old football player is preparing for the new season with special training, which he spends with his personal trainer Majed Al-Ali in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, where he trains for an hour a day.
The former NEOM captain has already received two offers to play in the Saudi Roshan League next season, one from Riyadh-based Al-Diriya, in addition to Al-Faisali, both of whom have progressed this season.
Al-Faraj is looking to complete his illustrious career in the Roshan League which he started at Al-Hilal Club some 18 years ago when he was promoted to the first team at Al-Hilal Club in 2008 and continued with them until he left for NEOM in 2024.
Over the course of 16 years, the veteran player participated in 388 matches in various competitions for Al Hilal, during which he scored 25 goals and provided 39 assists.
Since leaving Al Hilal, Al Faraj has not scored a goal as he missed 388 days with a cruciate ligament injury, while making just 24 appearances across two seasons, providing just three assists.
