After Berkan’s gift… Royal Army climb to the top of the Moroccan league

Royal Army moved to the top of the Moroccan professional league after a valuable 2-1 win over Difa El Hassani El Jadidi in the 22nd round on Thursday night.

The Royal Army took the lead in the 33rd minute with the first goal through their player Khaled Ait Warkhan.

Hassani Jadidi’s defenders managed to equalize thanks to Abdullah Ziani’s goal in the 56th minute.

But the Royals restored their lead again in the 71st minute through Hamza Khaba.

Royal Army moved up to 44 points at the top of the Moroccan league on goal difference from Moghreb Fes.

Meanwhile, Difa El Hassan El Jadidi’s balance was frozen in sixth place with 30 points.

The Army team managed to capitalize on Raja’s loss to RS Berkane with an unanswered goal.

Raja finished fourth with 42 points, two points behind the leader.
