The president of the Egyptian federation confirms that he made a decision to update the technical staff before the match with Argentina.
The chairman of the board of directors of the Egyptian Football Association, Hani Abu Rida, said that his relationship with Pharaohs coach Hossam Hassan existed for years when he was a player of the national team.
Abu Rida told media personality Lamis Al-Hadidi on the Al-Sura program that Hossam Hassan was initially sad because he wanted to be selected for the national team earlier, stressing that he is a good person, enthusiastic about his work, hardworking and always listens to the opinions of those around him.
Abu Rida confirmed that he brought out the best version of Hossam Hasan, who solves the issues very calmly. Explaining that Hossam has always been nominated by the Football Association to take over the position of national team coach in recent years.
Abu Rida praised the technical staff led by twins Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, as Hossam has excellent tactical aspects and exceptional work and does not depend on enthusiasm alone, while Ibrahim Hassan imposes discipline on the camps.

Regarding the contract extension with Hossam Hasan, he stated that he made the decision before the final match of the World Cup against Argentina, explaining that the committee was created to put dots on the letters of the contract clauses, which are confidential and not presented to the media.
