The president of the Royal Club strongly criticized the reference of the Spanish newspaper
The Spanish newspaper ABC issued an official statement in response to the statements made during the press conference of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez yesterday, Tuesday, where he directly accused the newspaper of being biased against the Royal Club.
The newspaper stated in its statement. “The main enemy was this newspaper, to which Peres devoted 15 of the 65 minutes of his speech. It was astonishing that he could not identify the real injustices or the objective lies published by the newspaper.
He continued. “He eventually reduced his criticism to a news story published a few hours ago that, based on direct sources, quoted a statement from his inner circle (I’m tired) … nothing more. No illness, no medical assumptions, and no personal reviews.”

The newspaper continued. “It is for this reason that it was disturbing to see him turn yesterday to external grievances and media conspiracy theories, to look abroad for the causes of problems which today, in fact, are rooted in the club itself.”
He continued. “Throughout its history, the ABC newspaper has faced enormous political, commercial and institutional pressures. But it never stopped making news, and it won’t stop now. Real Madrid is a beloved institution and is followed with great interest by this newspaper and its readers. Therefore, we will continue to report everything that happens at the club, even if it interferes with its chairman and even if he decides to pay his chairman.”
