Oxford recently returned from a pre-season training camp in Spain and beat Aldershot Town 3-1 in a friendly on Tuesday.
They will play friendlies against Barnet, Crawley Town and Ipswich Town before opening their League Cup campaign against Leyton Orient on August 8, their first League One game at home to MK Dons a week later.
The U’s have said they hope to retain their current squad in the summer, and Ramsey believes the position needs to be boosted.
“It’s a real sign of intent from the owners,” Ramsey said.
“I’m really pleased about it and excited to go with this group of players, I can sympathize with the fans but I’m calm about the situation and I’ve been assured that it will be resolved very quickly.
“We’ve had a really good start over the last few weeks, the boys’ commitment and their standards have been exceptional and we’ve asked a lot of them.
“They’ve responded really well to it so I can’t fault the players’ effort and we’ll just keep building on it.”
