Barca open the way for his new contract and the European champions compensate for the departure of Ramos
Paris Saint-Germain have reached a preliminary agreement with Barcelona’s Spanish striker Ferran Torres in preparation for his inclusion in the summer transfer window as part of the European champions’ efforts to compensate for the departure of Portuguese striker Gonzalo Ramos to AC Milan.

The report states that Barcelona are no longer betting on Ferran Torres continuing, especially with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2027 and the lack of progress in extension talks.
The player had previously indicated that Paris Saint-Germain were interested in his services, while the management of the Catalan club had already started planning the period after his departure.
The report states that Barcelona are set to compensate him by signing Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi of Germany, who is expected to strengthen the team’s forward line.
So a transfer of Torres to Saint Germain looks to be a win-win as the Parisian club look to compensate for the departure of Ramos, while Barcelona want to reap the financial benefits of selling the player instead of losing him on a free next season while his contract extension will prove difficult, and there is also a desire to make room for Adeyemi’s arrival.
As for Torres himself, he wants to get more playing minutes, because he has promised to participate in the starting team from his compatriot Luis Enrique.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Enrique has the biggest role to play in PSG’s move towards Torres, as he knows the player well from his time in charge of the Spanish national team.
Enrique believes that Torres’ speed, technical quality and ability to play in all forward positions make him an ideal element for the style of play adopted by the Paris team.
Ferran Torres took advantage of Poland’s Robert Lewandowski’s decline in fitness last season to have one of his best seasons in a Barcelona shirt.
The Spanish striker played 33 matches in the Spanish Championship, during which he scored 16 goals and two assists.
Although Paris Saint-Germain have a strong attacking group that includes Ousmane Dembele, Khvycha Kvaratskhelia, Desiree Douy and Bradley Barkola, the club’s management is still looking to add more attacking options.
The report states that Barcola’s future is still undecided, increasing the importance of signing Ferran Torres, who will provide Luis Enrique with additional solutions up front.
