A UK heat wave could be confirmed as a record-breaking temperature forecast.

This all depends on where you live and the “normal” weather there.

Full office temperature standards set Scotland, Northern Ireland, most of Wales and northern England for heatwaves at 25C.

For many other areas of England, as well as south east Wales, it is 26 or 27C. In London, most of the home counties and Cambridgeshire, it is 28C.

These limits must be reached or exceeded on at least three consecutive days.

Many areas could be officially classified as being in a heat wave when Sunday’s temperatures are confirmed.

It could turn into a prolonged heat wave for some areas.
