Find out the list of Champions League winners throughout history
For more than six decades, the Champions League has witnessed legendary battles that have written the names of the greatest clubs in the annals of world football. Among all the teams that participated in this prestigious tournament, several clubs emerged that managed to dominate the competition and create an unforgettable history.
Real Madrid leads the list of most Champions League titles with an unprecedented record (15 titles), setting a record that will be difficult to beat in the foreseeable future. The Spanish giants are followed by the Italian “Milan” with seven titles, then the German “Bavaria” and the English “Liverpool” with six titles.
These ancient clubs not only collected titles but also created an integrated football legacy through legends who wore their shirts, coaches who changed the concepts of the game and immortal moments in the memories of football fans. Real Madrid, for example, recorded the longest winning streak in the competition’s history with five consecutive titles (1956-1960), while AC Milan enjoyed intermittent but influential periods of dominance in the 1980s and 1990s.

Paris Saint-Germain won their second Champions League title after beating Arsenal on penalties.
Paris Saint-Germain started the 2025-26 Champions League less than expected, dropping points in the league stage before recovering early in the new year.
Paris managed to qualify via the play-offs as they were not in the top eight, but bypassed Monaco in the play-offs, meeting Chelsea in the round of 16 and knocking them out with a back-and-forth win.
The Parisian club overcame Liverpool in the quarter-finals after winning both legs, then progressed to the semi-finals and beat Bayern Munich in two of the most entertaining games of the tournament to reach the final, which ended in a 1-1 draw before the title was decided on penalties in the defender’s favour.
For Paris, this is the second title in a row, repeating the achievement of “Real” in 2017, and the biggest challenge remains to win the championship for the third time in a row.
Real Madrid dominates the tournament as they have won the title the most with 15 times and are also the only team to win the title 3 times in a row in its new version and the first 5 titles in a row in the old version.
