A Newport man threw his electric motorcycle off a bridge after police say the tires were flat

Gwent Police said they were assisted by the National Police Air Service, which led to an arrest near Clarence Place after a “short chase”.

Pendery is then seen pulling over to the side of the road, grabbing the vehicle and throwing it off the Newport Town Bridge before being apprehended by officers.

PC Nathan Ford, from Gwent Police, said Pendre had “little option but to plead guilty” after the video evidence was collected.

He added: “Pendere did not have a valid license or proper insurance.

“We welcome this sentence, it shows that dangerous drivers are brought to justice and brought to justice.”
