A new photograph of Prince George has been released at Kensington Palace to mark his 13th birthday.
“Happy 13th birthday, George!” Along with the party popper emoji.
The picture was taken last month directly at Kensington Palace Conducting a color ceremonyby photographer Matt Porteous.
George, the eldest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, is second in line to the throne.
It’s Prince George’s big year, he’s a teenager, he’ll start high school in September.
The prince enters He followed in the footsteps of his father Prince William and went to Eton CollegeAn elite private school where admission usually begins at age 13.
Prince George’s uncle, Prince Harry and great uncle Earl Spencer, also attended the boys’ boarding school.
George will now be a boarder at one of Eton’s 25 boarding houses. Each house has about 55 students, who are looked after by a residential staff headed by a house master.
Along with his sister Charlotte and brother Louis, he was educated at Lambrock School in Berkshire.
The young prince has gradually been introduced to a more public role, including accompanying Prince William to a charity event for the homeless at Christmas.
He joined King Charles and other senior members of the royal family for the Trooping the Color parade in London to mark the sovereign’s official birthday in June.
Earlier this month, he was spotted at this year’s Wimbledon tennis championships with his parents.
