A Moroccan legend is a hero "An unusual scenario" in Italy

The name of the sports director of Marseille “Olympic” Moroccan Mehdi Benatia was recently presented to the Italian club “Roma” to replace Frederic Massara.

Tutto Mercato Web reports that Benatia could be an option to replace Massara as Roma’s sporting director.

Benatia has extensive experience in the Italian league, having previously played for Juventus, Roma and Udinese.

Massara is expected to leave Roma at the end of the season following the departure of Claudio Ranieri.

In recent hours, Massara had a conversation with Marseille regarding the administrative position there.

Thus, the possibility of an exchange of positions between “Roma” and “Marseille” may arise, an unusual but uncertain scenario, which does not seem very realistic at least from the point of view of the Italian club.

But internal issues are not easy to solve. “Roma” tried to sign a contract with the sporting director of “Inter Milan” Piero Ausilio, but he refused because he wanted to stay in “Neradzuri”.
