A man who appeared in a South African court as part of the Great Denham murder investigation

A man suspected of murdering his wife and two daughters in Bedfordshire has appeared in a South African court after British authorities made an extradition request.

Notabo Zandile Shuma, 42, and her daughters Natalie, 15, and Nala, five, were found dead by police at a home in Great Denham, near Bedford.

Ndodana Makanisi Shuma, a British citizen of Zimbabwean heritage, was arrested in Johannesburg on Friday night.

Crown prosecutors in Britain allowed three counts of murder against him.
