A Love Island The contestant is said to have left the show in connection with the London stabbing.
Gabriel Garland, 24, was removed from the team ITV2 lovers after being briefly in the segment on Sunday night as a child of the house of Casa Amor.
“Gabriel has now left the villa and will not be returning,” an ITV spokesperson told the Guardian. It is understood that the broadcaster will not be able to respond further due to the responsibility of taking care of the participants.
Garland is said to have been removed from the list after producers discovered that he was named in court documents at the sentencing of Vitor Mazzer, who was found guilty of two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent in the New Year’s 2019 incident in the southeast. London.
Court documents say Garland got into an argument with people who were stabbed by Mazzer. Garland’s mother passed the word on to her son, who was 17 at the time.

Mazzer served 42 months in prison and his appeal against the conviction was rejected in April 2024.

The news that Garland will be in the Love Island house has caused media users to question ITV’s actions.
