After Paris Saint-Germain won the Champions League title and then reached the continental final for the second season in a row, Luis Enrique is on the verge of a historic award from the Parisian club’s management in recognition of the success he has achieved since taking technical charge of the team.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that negotiations between PSG and Enrique have reached a very advanced stage to renew the contract with the Spanish coach.
Romano explained that a final deal could be signed after the Champions League final, a move that would remove Enrique from transfer market speculation after his name was recently linked with a coaching move at big clubs such as Manchester United and Liverpool.
