A historic offer to kidnap the star of the English national team from “Manchester City”.

“Manchester United” is fighting for the deal.

Manchester City are ready to make a historic bid for the Nottingham Forest star this summer, according to a press release today, Wednesday.

Manchester City failed in their first attempt to sign Elliott Anderson Nottingham Forest and England midfielder during the summer transfer window.

Anderson is expected to be in the starting line-up of the England team participating in the 2026 World Cup, so Nottingham Forest are trying to sell him for the highest financial value.

The Sun newspaper reported this evening that “Manchester City” is ready to make Elliott Anderson the most expensive English player in the history of the Premier League.

Manchester City have prepared a second bid that would cost around £106m for the Nottingham Forest player.

The offer also includes a number of add-ons if the 23-year-old succeeds at City, meaning he could eventually reach £120million.

The deal will easily surpass the amount Arsenal paid (£105m) for Declan Rice when he moved to the Emirates Stadium three years ago.

This would also surpass Manchester City’s transfer record of £100m for Jack Grealish in 2021.

Nottingham Forest want an upfront fee of around £110m for the Three Lions star, who is currently in America with England.

Manchester City are keen to complete the deal before the star player takes part in the World Cup and a compromise could now be reached before Thomas Tuchel’s men begin their campaign against Croatia on Wednesday.

Manchester City’s neighbors Manchester United are the other club showing serious interest in the 23-year-old former Newcastle player.
