A fire at a college building in the Indian city of Lucknow has killed at least 14 people, most of them students.
The fire broke out on Monday in a three-storey building in the northern city of India. The building housed a library and animation studio for college students on one floor, and a veterinary clinic on another.

The fire broke out on the middle floor of the three-storey house, located in a residential area of the northern Uttar Pradesh city.
Some reports say at least 14 people have been killed, while others say 15 have been injured.
“Fourteen children from happy families were killed in the incident,” Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak told reporters, adding that four others were injured.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, nor was it known whether all the dead were students.

Social media footage showed people escaping through broken windows. Another video appeared showing a man falling from the top floor while trying to escape. Local media reported that he survived and was taken to hospital.
Firefighters had to enter the home by breaking through a wall after heavy smoke hampered rescue efforts, officials said. Exhaust fans were reportedly brought in to clear the smoke while emergency workers searched the rooms of survivors.
Mohammad Asin, an employee at the movie studio, told the Associated Press that workers had just returned from lunch when they were notified.
He said: “At first we thought it was a small fire.
