I think a female Minion could be the beginning of the end. Universal would want to do that because they think it would appeal to all the women out there. But I’m not sure. If I were a woman, I would think it was a sign. I’m not saying we don’t or shouldn’t try, but maybe we shouldn’t. Or maybe it is! Who knows.
We toyed around with the idea of having the Minions on the island where there was another tribe that were all, obviously, female. But it didn’t go beyond that. In my head, the female Minions would look the same as the males. And as for how they breed: they don’t. They just are.

Since Chris Meledandri said to make a Minion movie that the Minions were making a movie I thought it would be cool to do it in that time everyone forgets, where cinema became an industry and people like Fritz Lang and Michael Curtiz were migrating from Eastern Europe to build studios and make great movies.
And the visuals of the time nod to the Minion reality. I like things that are very sketchy and one-of-a-kind. We’re nodding to Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton and Chaplin and trying to enjoy history by saying that some events were made possible thanks to the Minions.

Airless. At the end of the new video we show fans always messing up the top videos. Like killing one of the eight Samurai, and knocking down the Breathless switch room, that’s why it ended a bit late.

I’m not crazy about them. I have a few months. There are other fruits, and sometimes I like salad. But there is another very useful thing about bananas. They come with their blanket. I really wanted to give the Minions a passion, and it made sense that it would be a banana, because of its color.

There is truth in both words. In the first two Despicable Me movies, it’s just a group. But with the Minions, we needed three very different characters, so we created Kevin, Stuart and Bob: authority, selfishness and ignorance. After that we decided we shouldn’t do any more Smurf stuff. So in the second Minions movie there’s a Minion named Otto, who is one of the guys you ask “How’s it going?” and then he suddenly explodes with all his life: “Oh, everything is going well. I like the weather. You won’t believe what happened to me today…” And if you let him talk for 15 minutes without stopping, he will undoubtedly get to Trump.
So there are characters who have arcs in the later films, and I feel protective and protective of them because they’re not antagonists. They are not lifeless. Those are not things. They are individuals. Sometimes, when I’m watching movies I see a series that I messed up in this story and it’s not good. I think what people recognize in them and the reason they’re so successful is that even though they look funny and cool and they have a good look to them, they have lives.

Is Minionese just gibberish or is it some kind of language? If so, what is it, and do you change it in different countries? laurasnapes
It has no linguistic structure. It has music. If a Minion asks a question, he has a question song. If it is a joke, it has a humorous tone. The key to the Minionese language is to find the right rhyme and add it to the lyrics so you can better understand what the sentence is saying. Or add Indian food or famous singers just for fun.
I feel a little cheated, because it’s not the right language. It’s gibberish. Ways to make people understand things that sometimes make sense. Sometimes, we change the scene because I can’t find the right song. That’s why movies take three years.
After we finish the scenes, I do three weeks of voice recording in my house (Coffin voices the Minions in all regions except China). The first week I’m just rehearsing small words, because in some languages I just say swear words or mention a body part that I shouldn’t. Then the other two weeks are spent on the subject matter, trying to keep it close. Like a big boss grandfather sir in South America.

I worked for a year on Spielberg’s Amblimation, where he made these movies – An American Tail, We’re Back! The Story of Dinosaurs and Balto. He then took many people back to the US and created DreamWorks.
Amblimation was in Acton (west London) and I lived there with my boyfriend. The job was amazing because we could work on Disney-style films in Europe, which was a big deal, and that’s where I got really drawn to computers. But although I loved the Chinese and Indian restaurants in Acton, these places were strange to us French people. I didn’t go back. But I am curious.
How does it sound? and Friends has been a vehicle for some very surreal types of meme communication? It really needs it
I think it’s great that people have made Minions their own. Sometimes, I find it funny, sometimes it’s very scary. But even if it’s disrespectful, even if it’s beyond the child’s growth, it’s cool that they’re part of pop culture.

Yes, but I just swam so much that I asked them to stop shipping. Now he’s doing a lot of things that I didn’t know about, and I’m a little less interested. But the one thing I still have is this type of gun that makes a loud noise when you shoot and emits a type of vapor that smells like bananas. I like that. It’s really cool.
