Did Ana blame her husband after announcing his departure from Barcelona?
The sudden comment was enough to spark controversy in Turkey over the future of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski after his wife Anna responded to one of his followers.
The Polish forward has been in a period of uncertainty since his Barcelona career ended, yet to decide on his next destination, and in light of this vacuum, his name has returned to being closely linked with Turkish club Fenerbahce.
The main reason relates to Fenerbahce presidential candidate Hakan Safi, who made signing Lewandowski a major campaign promise, and according to Italian journalist Niccolò Schira, Safi is preparing an offer of around €10 million as the striker’s net annual salary.
The spark came from Anna Levandowska herself. When she was in Ibiza to host the ‘Kick the Barre’ event, she posted pictures from the event and one of her followers asked her:
The answer, while it may be related to the training camp that Anna organizes in Turkey every year, as he did last year, came at a sensitive time and Fenerbahce fans interpreted it as a sign that a deal was close.

Within hours, social media platforms were flooded with thousands of yellow and blue hearts and “Come on Fenerbahce” tags. The family knows Turkey well as they regularly vacation in Antalya.
Lewandowski has not decided yet, but in Istanbul they are convinced that Anna’s verdict can turn from a passing comment into the announcement of the biggest surprises of the summer.
