Egypt’s national team delegation received a valuable gift of a luxury car for each member after bidding farewell to the 2026 World Cup in America, Canada and Mexico.
The Egyptian team bid farewell to the 2026 World Cup in the quarterfinalsAfter leading 2-0 in a 2-3 loss to Argentina at the Atlanta Stadium last Tuesday.
Emirati businessman Khalaf Ahmed Al Habtoor published a statement on his official page of the “X” website, in which he announced that after the historic victory of the World Cup, he will present a Mitsubishi car to each member of the delegation of the Egyptian national team.
“Under the leadership of Mr. Khalaf Ahmed Al Habtoor, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Habtoor Group, the group contacted the Egyptian Football Association and agreed to provide each member of the Egyptian national team delegation with a Mitsubishi car in recognition of Egypt’s honorable performance at the World Cup, which showed the honorable performance of the Egyptian National Cup. and brought joy to the hearts of all Arabs.”
He added: “The initiative includes all members of the national team delegation, including players and members of the technical, administrative and medical staff, in recognition of their efforts and the belief that success is the result of teamwork.”
“Today, the joy of Egypt is the joy of every Arab. What this team has given deserves all the credit and it is our duty to celebrate those who raise the Arab flag on international platforms.
He added: “This gift is an expression of our love and appreciation for the Egyptian heroes who honored their country, delighted their fans and taught every Arab a lesson in determination, perseverance and fighting spirit.”
“You have proven that belief, teamwork and fighting until the final whistle are values that create achievements. The future is in front of you and what you have presented in this World Cup confirms that Egyptian football is capable of achieving more success.”
Notably, during the 2026 World Cup, the Egyptian national team achieved many historic things, including their first ever victory, their first ever group stage exit, and their first ever exit.
