A dead whale weighing about 12 tons has been found on the shores of Muanda Lake after it washed ashore in the Atlantic Ocean. Authorities used a 42-tonne crane to remove it following two days of unsuccessful attempts by tractors and other lifting equipment, as crowds gathered to watch the operation.
